How Amazon Sellers Can Use TikTok For Massive Growth

TikTok is one of the most popular social platforms ever. And Amazon is one of the most popular online retailers. If you sell on Amazon and you’re not using TikTok to your advantage, then you’re missing out on potential sales.

Let’s go over different ways you can use TikTok for massive growth on Amazon.

1. Hire Influencers to Promote Products

People love to follow other people online. Influencers have built themselves a stage that can be used to project a message to their audience. If you work with the right influencers, then you can promote your product to people who are ready to buy it.

Try to find an influencer in your niche. If you sell power tools, then look for a popular builder on TikTok. Write them an email or send them a DM on TikTok to inquire about promos. If you agree with their prices, then you can send them your product and have them post about it!

Keep in mind that many big influencers have a long waitlist for promos. If you want to promote your product sooner rather than later, then consider working with a smaller creator. They’re much more likely to give you cheaper rates as well.

2. Create Content to Build Your Brand

Another way to use TikTok to your advantage is to create content yourself. Customers are curious about what goes on behind the scenes of their favorite products.

You can create content about the manufacturing process, the work that goes into your products, or the people on your team. Don’t be afraid to use your brand’s unique voice and aesthetics to establish yourselves on TikTok.

Interacting with your audience is a huge bonus to creating your own content on TikTok rather than hiring someone else to do it.

Many brands have built themselves a great platform on TikTok. A good example is Scrub Daddy, they’ve invested a lot of time and money into their account. It paid off—Their Amazon sales are very healthy and they’re always promoting different products on social media.

TikTok content is supposed to be short and sweet. Get to the point quickly and use smart editing techniques to make the video engaging.

3. Work on Personal Branding

If you sell industrial products or you’ve already established a name for yourself in your industry, then consider using TikTok to work on personal branding. By strengthening your own personal brand, then you can create a sense of trust with your customers. That trust is important when you’re selling expensive products on Amazon.

Strengthen your personal brand by being the star of your TikTok account. Use your name as your TikTok handle. Talk to your audience about your product, yourself, and the industry you’re in. Answer their questions, engage them, and ask them to contribute to the conversation.

Investing in your personal brand is going to become increasingly more important as time goes on. Especially with industrial sales. It’s best to start now!

4. Advertise on Tiktok

The simplest way to grow your brand with TikTok is to advertise on the platform. Advertising is a lot more straightforward than the other tactics in this blog post. You could even outsource the ad’s creation if you don’t want to do it yourself.

Advertising on TikTok could be a bit more difficult, though. You’ll lose the sense of trust that comes with having customers find your video organically. But if you have the means to invest in a TikTok ad campaign, then it could definitely be worth your time.
