This Privacy Policy explains how Anderson & Associates ("ShipmentBot," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use shipmentbot.com, app.shipmentbot.com, and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, company name, and password or single sign-on identity.
• Billing information: payment card details, which are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
• Communications: messages you send to support and content you submit in the app.

Information from Amazon

When you connect your Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central account, we receive business data through the Amazon Selling Partner API with your authorization: orders, inventory, catalog, shipments, settlements, and advertising data. Order data can include buyer names and shipping addresses. We process Amazon data in accordance with the Amazon Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy: we use buyer personal information only for order fulfillment and related purposes Amazon permits, we do not sell it, and we delete it when it is no longer required.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, and actions taken in the app.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Generate forecasts, reports, and recommendations from your data.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Respond to support requests.
• Send service notices and, with your consent where required, marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
• Monitor, debug, and secure the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use Amazon buyer personal information for marketing, advertising, or model training, and we do not sell personal information.

3. AI Processing

Some features send data to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate forecasts, content, or summaries. We send only the data needed for the feature. We do not send Amazon buyer personal information to AI providers. Our AI providers are contractually restricted from using our data to train their models.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers (subprocessors) that host and support the Service, listed in our Data Processing Addendum. They may process data only on our instructions.
• Amazon, when you use features that submit data to your Amazon account.
• Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the Service.
• A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and business data while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. Amazon buyer personal information is retained no longer than Amazon's Data Protection Policy permits (generally 30 days after order delivery, unless required for legal compliance) and is then deleted or anonymized. After account termination, we delete your Seller Data within a reasonable period, subject to routine backups.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, audit logging, and vendor security review. No system is completely secure; notify us at support@shipmentbot.com if you believe your data has been compromised.

7. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you use the Service from another country, your data is transferred to the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@shipmentbot.com. We respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Children

The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will give notice by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.
